In case you've not been on a bridge call before, here are some pointers to make it even better for you.
1. Please call on time. The number to use as well as the code number will be sent to you via my newsletter. When you dial the number, be patient and wait for the prompts. This may take a couple of seconds, so don't give up. Then dial the access code.
We'll be starting promptly. If you are the first person to dial the bridge, the phone will just ring, Once another person dials in, you two will be connected, and then others dialing in will be connected as well. I am usually the first person to dial in, but offer this information in case you get there before me.
2. Use a headset or a handset -- not a speakerphone. If you use a cordless phone, be sure to have a non-cordless phone handy in case your channel creates static on our call. Please don't use a cell phone.
3. Call from a quiet location. When you're not speaking, use your mute button if you have one. If you don't have one, calling from a quiet location is even more important.
4. When you want to speak, always begin by saying your name.... "This is Stacy, and I think....." Hearing your name when you speak allows us to quickly learn the voices of the people on the call, and feel connected to each other.
5. Come prepared to share and learn! There's nothing you have to *do* to get ready for the call, other than be ready to be engaged, have fun and come away with valuable tools for living a happier more fulfilled and peaceful life!
